Mandela Day has been created to inspire people around the world to embrace the values that have embodied Mandela´s life. Values such as democracy, equality, diversity, responsibility,respect and freedom.
In this day the work of the Nelson Mandela charitable organisations is exposed and some money is raised to support their work.
Many interesting activities take place that day, whether supporting a charity organisation or serving your local community. Everybody should participate in this special day that celebrates the legacy that Nelson Mandela leaves to our world. People are asked to do something special for 67 minutes.
